'Council of Human Settlements in China Real Estate and Housing Research Association (hereinafter referred as CHS) is a research organization under
Ministry of Construction. The organization is now carrying out a nationwide 'Promotion Project of China Human Settlements and New Townships', aimed at practical problems emerging in China urbanization and real estate development.
70 experimental programs of Human Settlement Gold Medal Construction have been launched in 47 cities of 24 provinces, closely and widely related to local real estate developers and governments. Meanwhile, the construction of 'Human settlement Scitech exchange platform' is in full swing; the proposed concept of highly comfortable and energy-efficient building technologies' is winning acknowledgement; energy-efficient technologies are in further development and maturity.
Euro-China Energy-Efficient Building (ECEB 07) Forum 2007 and Fair is of great significance in promoting Euro-China Energy-Efficient technical exchange and paving the way for foreign enterprises into China market. Human CHS Scitech Department, by virtue of its executive capacities in human settlement area and its impacts on the real estate sector, stands in a position to assist Euro-China Energy-Efficient Building (ECEB 07) Forum 2007 and bring more effects.
