Sino-German College of Applied Sciences - Tongji University
The Sino-German College of Applied Sciences is a joint educational program sponsored by the Chinese and German governments. Now the program is being carried on by Tongji and its German cooperative partners.
Students enrolled in this college are expected to be able to speak English and German fluently after studying the undergraduate program for four years. They are also required to master the specialized knowledge in their own fields of studies as well as get familiar with rules in international scientific practice and in other related fields.

It is established on 29 Apr.1981 and it has been 50 years dating back to establishment of its ancestor: Refrigerate Branch of Shanghai Mechanical Society.
